The Role:

This role is responsible for helping to drive growth and expand SoHookd’s customer base. The Account Executive will generate leads, solicit new potential customers, close deals and/or connect these customers with our Chief of Marketing Officer or Chief Executive Officer to win the account. Other related duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

Report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Develop sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers
  • Initiate contact with potential customers through cold-outreach or responding to inquiries generated from marketing efforts
  • Assist with planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Present product information to customers once need has been identified
  • Assist in developing proposals for client accounts
  • Move solid leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to an executive team member, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls
  • Follow up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase any goods or services
  • Manage & report pipeline on CRM system
  • Collaborate with the executive team to ensure the company's goals and targets are met
  • Assist with finding and developing new markets and improving sales
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience
  • Experience with project management
  • Sales, partnership, or client-facing experience required
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Well organized and high attention to detail
  • High level of accountability
  • Proactive, curious & problem solver mindset
  • Agility and comfort with ambiguity
  • Ability to operate independently
  • Strong written & verbal communication
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel
  • Adept with quickly learning new platforms and systems
  • Experience with platforms such as: HubSpot, notion, Mailchimp, and Canva
